FORMER DILG SECRETARY JOSE LINA was guest speaker of the U.P. Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity North America West Coast Chapter where he discussed anti graft and corruption measures he espoused while he was a senator, metropolitan Manila governor, and Laguna governor.

 

Presently, he is the convenor of First 1000 Days advocacy group, and president of Manila Hotel.

 

He was introduced by Carlos Baniqued, one of Asia Law Leading Lawyers, and one of the outstanding lawyers in the Philippines.

 

Among the panelists were publisher Ave Basa, Ambassador Gene Calonge and Deacon Noe Tuason, a former U.P. philosophy professor.
